The route is from the Scalp to Kiltiernan along the Enniscorthy Road.

I believe that the original planned route was through the townlands of Killegar and Ballybetagh, as indicated by the bare signposts I passed on my walk. I suspect that the County Council was planning to build a footpath along a dangerous part of the Enniscorthy Road but the financial situation had ruled that out, so they change the route to a safer one, along an existing footpath.

The only place I found to park was in Kiltiernan close to the school. 

Walking on a very dangerous road for a half mile and with a little extra distance the walk can be turned into a very scenic circular route back to the car (as shown on these photos).
