These
woods could be described as the twin of Carrickgiogan, not only are
the two woods close together but the car parks are only a stone throw
away from each other. If it is the twin it is also the Cinderella.
The car park is permanently closed and growth is reclaiming the paths
in places, but
it is still well worth a visit.

There
are two good walks in these woods.

The
first walk is a gentle walk that will take you to the summit of the
hill and back down again by a different route.
|
|
This
is an easy walk of 1 hour and a climb of 35 metres.
